Paul Wesley is a multi-award winning actor, producer, and director. The most well-known of his roles is portraying the character Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. In recognition of his performance in The Vampire Diaries the actor received numerous awards as well as nominations. Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and brought up in the United States, showed interest in acting during his elementary school days. Rutgers University was his next step. However when he realised the potential of his talent and realized that he could be able to earn a living from his acting talents then the actor decided to drop out. The cult American TV soap Another World was his first TV performance. The next role on TV was with his role on the CBS series Wolf Lake. His career took a turn at a moment when he began playing the character Stefan Salvatore, in the famous American television show The Vampire Diaries. There have been a few episodes directed by him. Since his first appearance on The Last Run in 1999 He has appeared in several other popular movies. Recent appearances in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting actor. He is also fairly popular on social media with more than thirteen million users on Instagram and 4.1 million on Twitter.
